Turkey Sausage sliders





 


Turkey Sausage                   Prep Time: 5 minutes   Cook Time: 7 minutes   Yield: Approx. 12 patties
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pounds ground turkey, half turkey breast and half turkey thigh
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS
·         Combine all ingredients and mix well to blend thoroughly.
·         Wetting hands frequently to prevent the sausage from sticking, shape the mixture into 1 1/2- to 2-ounces sausages, or as desired.
·         Heat a griddle or large skillet and cook the sausages, turning to brown both sides, for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked.
·         Serve immediately.

Low Down: We shrunk them down to sliders for bite sized fun!!
